About Wilderness Camping Kougaberg Kraal

This rustic campsite is located on 1500Ha of rugged kloofs and valleys in the Kouga Mountains and borders the southern aspect of the Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve in the Eastren Cape.

The campsite has braai facilities, a hot shower and flush toilet. Activities include mountain and kloof hikes, birding, mountain biking and horse riding.

It is an excellent stop over for those wishing to enter the Baviaanskloof via the southern 4x4 route and is only one hour's drive inland from Kareedouw.
