Welcome to The Cottage - the German Guesthouse ! We are ideally located in St. Francis Bay Village, 300m to the St Francis Bay Golf Course, 400m to the village centre, 600m to the new St Francis Bay Links Course and 700m to the beach.
Our Guesthouse was recently converted into two stylish buildings - the design purposely created with our guests' needs in mind. Completed in October 2009, the original thatched cottage was revamped in a modern design, with spacious dining and entertainment areas as well as a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen and office. Other exciting upgrades include digital TV with 8 selected channels and 24/7 internet access via our wireless network.
All our five rooms have a queen sized bed, satellite TV, wireless internet, bar fridge, en-suite facility with large shower, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryers and a private terrace or balcony. The family unit has a double bed couch in addition. Breakfast is served daily between 7:30am and 9:30am. Enjoy a pleasant stay close to all amenities, an excellent breakfast and friendly German hosts.

Unser Gästehaus hat eine ideale, zentrale Lage im Herzen von St. Francis Bay: 300m zum Eingang des „alten“ Golfplatzes mitten in St. Francis Bay, 400m zum Orts-Zentrum, 600m zum neuen Golfplatz (Links Course) und 700m zum Strand am indischen Ozean.
Die beiden Gebäude für die Gäste sind wesentlicher Teil eines Gesamtkonzeptes, das bis Oktober 2009 umgesetzt wurde. Unser „altes“, reed-gedecktes Cottage ist ersetzt durch ein modernes, neues Gebäude mit großem Eß- und Aufenthaltsbereich, neuer Küche und Büro. Neu ist ebenfalls digitales Fernsehen mit 8 ausgewaehlten Kanaelen sowie Internet-Zugang ueber W-LAN. Das Anwesen liegt in deutschem Besitz und Management und wird vorort in Englisch und Deutsch geführt.
Unsere fuenf Zimmer verfügen jeweils über ein Queen-Size-Bett, Farbfernseher, Kühlschrank, Bad mit großer Dusche, großen Kleiderschrank, Einrichtung zum Tee- und Kaffee-Kochen, Haar-Trockner und haben entweder eine Terrasse oder einen Balkon. Unser groesster Raum hat zusaetzlich eine Doppel-Bett Couch und eignet sich somit fuer eine Familie. Frühstück gibt es täglich zwischen 7:30 und 9:30. Geniessen Sie Ihren Aufenthalt in guenstiger Einkaufs- und Verkehrslage, bei hervorragendem Fruehstueck und freundlichen deutschen Gastgebern.
Travelling from Port Elizabeth:

Follow the signs to the N2 motorway towards CAPE TOWN and HUMANSDORP.

Once you are on the N2 keep driving for approximately 45 minutes until you see the R330 HUMANSDORP exit.

Take this exit and follow the road into Humansdorp.

You will come to a stop street with 2 large palm trees and an Engen Garage opposite.

Cross over, passing the garage on your left.

Drive through the town to a T-junction.

Turn left at the three-way stop street and follow the road and signs to ST. FRANCIS BAY.

When you get to St. Francis Bay circle, turn left, after 100m turn right into Lyme Road South.

Travelling from Cape Town:

Follow the signs to the N2 motorway towards PORT ELIZABETH and HUMANSDORP.

Take the R330 exit, turn right and follow the road into Humansdorp.

7 - 14 days prior to arrival date forfeit 75% of the deposit.

14 - 21 days prior to arrival date forfeit 50% of the deposit.

21 - 28 days prior to arrival date forfeit 25% of the deposit.

In excess of 28 days 5% admin charge.
