Gracing a 10 hectare vineyard and olive orchards, Five Elements is located approximately 100 kilometres west of Port Elizabeth, (180 kilometres east of Plettenberg Bay.) in the coastal village of St. Francis Bay. Expansive open-air doors allow guests to feel the refreshing ocean breezes and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of nature. Executive Chef Nicole Thompson highlights her international experience with local influences on an ever changing menu featuring daily caught seafood, farm-raised meats and game and always fresh artisanal ingredients.
Keeping in step with the architecture of the East Cape Farm House, Five Elements features 10 meter high raised angled ceiling flanked by two "West Coast" fire places.
The custom built, 900 bottle, glass wine cellar invites guests to walk in a select their wines from the wood cases. The main dining area is subtly divided allowing for a sophisticated, yet casual dining experience.
Three communal lounge areas invite guests to enjoy aperitifs or coffee in front of the wood burning fire places.
