The St Francis area consists of St Francis Bay, Cape St Francis and Oyster Bay. Situated halfway between Port Elizabeth and Knysna a short distance away from the N2 it offers a peaceful getaway in unspoilt surroundings.

Apart from it's scenic beauty the area offers a navigable river, canal system, harbour, golden beaches, ideal surfing conditions and is therfore a water sports mecca.

It also boasts world class golf courses, specialised shops and services.

St Francis has a Mediterranean climate with generally mild temperatures ranging from 12C to 25C in winter and 15C to 28C in summer.
